Promoting the development of managerial profiles through the IMPULSA program

Alestis Aerospace and Aciturri have held this morning, at the Deusto Business School (DBS) headquarters in Madrid, the inaugural session of Impulsa, the internal training program aimed at Group professionals with the potential to assume area or plant management functions.


The initiative has DBS as a strategic partner for the design and delivery of the Program. The objectives are to facilitate the development of key knowledge and skills so that participants evolve towards management functions, promoting innovation as a tool for continuous improvement.


During the opening session, María Eugenia Clemente Zárate, General Director of Alestis, and Álvaro Fernández Baragaño, General Director of Aciturri, highlighted the need to promote this type of action to develop internal talent and maintain long-term relationships with the people who are part of it. of the Group, since they are the protagonists of the process of transformation and growth that this industrial project is facing.

Twenty people from the areas of Engineering, Operations, Programs and Corporate Services of Alestis and Aciturri will participate in the program. The sessions will take place from Friday to Saturday until the end of October 2023 at the DBS headquarters in Madrid. The different modules incorporate content around various disciplines such as Operational Finance, Strategic Management, Digital Transformation and Growth Models, Project Management, Negotiation or Decision Making. All of them will be coordinated by the Academic Director of Impulsa, Mr. Juan Miguel Poyatos, and taught by professionals in each of the subjects such as María Iturriaga, Marisa Gutiérrez, Álex Rayón or Jon Segovia, among others.


The academic sessions will incorporate the participation of managers from Alestis and Aciturri, who will share the main challenges with the students and discuss the aspects addressed in each of the modules. Throughout the Program, participants will combine the sessions with the development of a final project in teams, which they must present and defend at the closing ceremony before a jury made up of the DBS team and directors and members of the board of directors of Alestis and Aciturri.


The Impulsa program contemplates a series of visits to the different facilities of the Group to promote the exchange of opinions and approaches to the subjects under study.
