The Management Committee presented the priorities of the Company for 2017
In February we held, at the School of Engineering of Cadiz, the annual Objectives Session in which the Company’s managers took part. The session was inaugurated by the CEO, Javier Gil Diaz, who highlighted achievement of positive EBIT as the main milestone of 2016, which served as an introduction to the video which reviewed the main successes of the whole Company last year.
Following the assessment of the 2016 Objectives made by the Management Committee, which were classified as Achieved, thanks were given for the efforts made and the team was encouraged to continue working along the path of growth, which will ensure that the commitments with creditors are met in 2021.
During the session, we had the opportunity to discover in detail the career of Dev Singh, VP of Alestis for North America, and his main motivation for joining the Alestis team. In his own words, “this team should be proud of the talent that it possesses and I am referring to the level of professionalism that I have found in all the people with whom I’ve had the chance to work.” From the Engineering area, Ángel Barrio and José Martín presented the Alestis Technological Plan, explaining the key aspects of the main activities currently being performed. We enjoyed the guest presentation by Rafael González Ripoll, CEO of Airbus Operations in Spain, head of Airbus Commercial in our country and chairman of the Alestis board of directors, who explained the board’s expectations regarding the Company, the opportunities in the sector and his best advice for achieving motivated and committed teams.
For his part, Vicente de los Rios, Director of the Executive Programme in Digital Transformation of the EOI Business School, shared his views on adaptation processes in companies.
Following talks by the guest speakers, the Management Committee presented the 22 Essential Objectives that define the roadmap for 2017, and to conclude, those that will be the main lines of action this year: the 2017 Priorities. The busy day ended with a clear and compelling message by Javier Gil Diaz addressed to the entire workforce. “In 2017, we expect the best of you all”.
