ALESTIS do Brazil commemorate first delivery of composite parts of the A350 XWB
On July 28, ALESTIS AEROSPACE celebrated in Sao José dos Campos the ceremony of the first set of composite parts produced in ALESTIS do Brazil for the A350 XWB.
During the event, in which representatives of the main Brazilian institutions, including the mayor of Sao Jose dos Campos, as well as a wide range of partners, suppliers and other authorities, was emphasized the relevant contribution of ALESTIS AEROSPACE to the A350 XWB program, as one of the largest aerostructure Supplier of the aircraft.
ALESTIS do Brazil is on board of this challenging project through the manufacturing of S19.1 HLU detail parts as sole source since 2017 with the development of a local Supply Chain.
Javier Diaz Gil, CEO of ALESTIS AEROSPACE, pointed during his speech the purchase of 27 A350 XWB by the Brazilian Airline LATAM and 10 A350 XWB v900 by Avianca Brazil, what means that parts produced in Brazil will be in those aircrafts since 2017. Likewise, he was emphasizing the contribution of the Company to the development of the Brazilian supply chain as well as generating employment and wealth at the local environment.
First set of composites parts to the skeleton structure of tail cone or Section 19.1 of the A350 XWB produced in ALESTIS do Brasil will be assembly in the aircraft MSN 99, delivered to Airbus in the assembly line in Toulouse the 13th, October.
From this time on, all employees of ALESTIS do Brasil can be proud of that relevant contribution and ratify, through the fulfillment of the demanding ramp up of the A350 XWB and their contribution to other Airbus programs (SA, LR and A380) full consolidation of a new ALESTIS in Brazil, leader in South America in the manufacture of composite parts.
