Alestis participates in the XIV Meeting about Engineering and Employment at the University of Seville
Yesterday the XIV Meeting about Engineering and Employment (ESIEM) was held at the Engineering University of Seville, where the most influential companies, institutions and organisms in the aeronautic, aerospace and engineering sectors met.
Alestis Aerospace once again has participated in this job fair with the objective of offering the attendants specific information about the activities that the company carries out and the scholarship programmes offered to new graduates and those in their last year of university. Those in charge of attending and distributing this information were Lucas Álvarez and Verónica Rosado, both members of our Human Resources department.
ESIEM’16 was organised by Euroavia and ESTIEM, two associations of engineering and aerospace engineering students which are quite important in Seville, linked to the Engineering University of Seville, and whose goal is to ease the relationships between the worlds of work and study.
At this forum, parallel speeches are set up among the main participating companies; from Alestis Carlos Domínguez was in charge of presenting our Company, as a supplier of aerostructures, leading in engineering and the technologies of the manufacture of compound material, which participates in the most relevant programmes of the most important manufacturers in the sector such as Boeing or Embraer. Carlos Domínguez pointed out the the success of the company is due to the structure manufacturing of a low price and cost, with the guarantee of customer satisfaction and encouraging the students to become interested in the scholarship programme at Alestis. The speech ended up by explaining the company’s international expansion plan and the opening of the new commercial office in Seattle.
ESIEM’16 has become an opportunity for engineering students since they can get in touch with the most relevant companies at the moment in said sector. Alestis, always betting on the future, will wait for the next edition to offer new labour opportunities
